Guided by Purpose

My Journey

My career began in sales and merchandising at Unilever, where I learned how strategy and data drive results. Today, as a (graduating) digital marketing in Vancouver, I apply those lessons to help businesses craft stories that connect.

Coming to Canada

Moving to Metro Vancouver as an international student and mom of two, I knew I was starting a new chapter. This time focused on digital. I’m now completing my Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Digital Marketing at Douglas College. While working on real projects that bridge strategy, storytelling, and performance.

I’ve coordinated merchandising projects at Unilever, sold in person as sales associate at Vessi, built campaigns in school and internships. Through all of these roles, my work has revolved around understanding people and how they make decisions.

What I do

Today, my work revolves around helping small teams and growing brands make their marketing more intentional and sustainable.

I work across:

  • Content & Campaign Strategy
  • Digital Marketing Execution
  • Social Media & Community
  • Analytics & Optimization .
  • Project & Operations Support

Right now, I’m applying these skills with:

  • Chops Consulting – supporting digital marketing projects, blogs, and email campaigns.
  • Douglas College International – helping with events and social media as a student assistant and volunteer leader.

My Approach

I believe good marketing feels like being understood, not being sold to.

My approach is:

  • Story-first – start with the message and the people, not the trend.
  • System-minded – build simple structures so marketing is repeatable, not chaotic.
  • Data-aware – look at the numbers, but never forget the humans behind them.
  • Compassionate – whether it’s students, customers, or clients, I try to see the person before the metric.

As a mom, student, and marketer, I’m used to balancing many things at once, which shows up in how I manage projects, timelines, and expectations.

Where I’m Headed

I’m in my final stretch of digital marketing studies and actively building a portfolio of real-world projects, from web copy and email campaigns to event promotions and strategy decks.

My next step is to grow into a Marketing Coordinator or Marketing Specialist role in Canada, where I can:

  • Support campaigns from strategy to execution
  • Combine content, operations, and analytics
  • Help values-driven brands turn their story into a clear, practical marketing system

Long term, I want to be the kind of marketer teams can rely on, not just for ideas, but for structure, calm, and follow-through.
